I want to be able to add a line item from the job that updates parts/services. Currently, if a line item is not in inventory, I can only add a custom line item which doesn't update the inventory. I would like to be able to add a line item that updates the parts/service module so I have the option for both custom one time use line items and the ability to update the existing inventory from the job.

HI William, thanks for sharing this feedback. Currently, field technician or engineers do not have the ability to add parts to the master. But this can be taken as a feature request. The caveat is that field service engineers might not know the full information like the availability of the parts in different warehouse locations which are fields that would have to be filled in during part creation.
