What’s new? – March and April Release

We built some exciting features in March and April and are thrilled to share them with you!

Here are the top highlights:

• Introducing Projects, a powerful feature for managing jobs, resources, and finances related to a project in one place. With the Gantt view, visualize the entire project schedule.
• Streamline expense management and automate your account payables with the Clyr integration. Submitting receipts is as simple and fast as taking a photo on your phone.
• Job time logs can now be added when clock-in and clock-out entries are missed, allowing you to keep them accurate and up to date.
• Keep more customers in the loop by adding them as secondary contacts to a job.
• Search for and add parts and products to inspection forms with the lookup field.
• Job time log, user timecard, and product location reports have been improved.

Projects

We are delighted to announce the launch of Projects! 🎉Apart from one-off jobs, you can now handle projects spanning weeks, months, or even years. Manage jobs, finances, and resources related to a project in one place. Below are the key highlights:
Gantt view: With the Gantt view, you can visualize the entire project schedule. You can easily access unscheduled jobs and schedule them with a simple drag and drop.
Manage finances: In the Financials section, create and manage Quotes, Proposals, and Invoices related to a project.
Notes: You can add and view notes associated with a project in the notes section.
We have many more exciting updates to Projects like Dependencies, Milestones, Phases, and Progressive Billing lined up.

Integrations

Clyr Integration

Platform: Web, Mobile
Version: V3
Streamline expense management and automate account payables with the Clyr integration. To submit a receipt, technicians can simply take a photo on their phone, and Clyr will automatically match the receipt with the right transaction. Jobs on Zuper are synced as projects on Clyr. All the transactions of a project in Clyr are reflected as parts & services of the corresponding job in Zuper. Further, user and customer records in Zuper are reflected in Clyr.

Enhancements

Job Time log- Complete management

Platform: Web
Version: V2 (Web), V3
It is not uncommon for clock-in/clock-out entries to be missed due to various reasons, such as poor internet connectivity, an additional technician working on a job without being formally assigned, or simply a technician forgetting to clock-in/clock-out of a job. With manual entry and deletion now possible, you can ensure accuracy and keep job time logs up to date.

Secondary contacts to Job

Platform: Web, Mobile
Version: V3
In addition to the primary customer, you may need to communicate job-related updates to other contacts associated with the customer. You can add these contacts as 'Secondary Contacts' within a job. Secondary contacts can view the jobs they are added to in their portal, receive customer notifications configured under notifications & alerts, receive text messages sent from a job, and are included in the cc list when an email is sent from a job or via a workflow.

Lookup option in the Inspection form

Platform: Web, Mobile
Version: V2 (Web), V3
Similar to checklists, the lookup option is now available in inspection forms, enabling you to easily search for and add parts and products. When adding the lookup field to an inspection form, you can choose from three options: products, products added in a job, or parts added in an asset. Additionally, the lookup field in checklists now includes the option to search for parts added to an asset.

Enhancements to Reports

Version: V2 (Web), V3
Job time log and user timecard reports now include time spent details in minutes and hours. Further, the product location report is improved with all the locations added as columns on a single sheet, making it easier to track and compare quantities across locations.

Other Enhancements

• When updating the asset status to Under Service, Obsolete, or Removed, you can choose to disassociate the asset from the customer and/or organization. (Web V2 and V3)
• Property column can now be customized on the job listing page. (Web V3)
• Quotes and invoices can be sent to customers in bulk from the listing page using the bulk action “Send to Customer”. (Web V3)
